The Heartleaf Condo is within walking distance to all shops, restaurants, and CB’s own movie theater.  This condo offers incredible value and location for its most recent upgrades.  The upstairs bath has been completely remodeled and new hardwood-look tile flooring in the downstairs living space, kitchen, and living area complete this brand new vacation rental to the market.

The downstairs level has the living area, open kitchen with bar seating, a dining table, bedroom, full bath and a private washer/dryer.  There is also television and private wireless internet, along with DVD player and live streaming device.  Outside offers a covered porch area in which to relax after an epic day riding our mountain trails.  As well, there is a grill, seating, and a space to park your bikes.

We love the property, but don't want others to know about it! :) Heartleaf is in need of some updating...nothing massive, but some of the kitchen stuff is getting rough and the bed in the smaller room upstairs is a taco. It's nothing that would prevent us from renting again, but combined with the oddness of the furniture downstairs, it could be a turnoff for others. We're currently trying to figure out dates for the Summer! Watchdog has always done a fantastic job. We rent almost exclusively through them in the CB area.

Responsive management. We had two rentals in the same week,one unit was excellent and the other horrible. Watchdog did the best they could to solve problems beyond their control. Guests need to be cautioned that this unit is on an alley that is NOT plowed. All residents on this alley reported getting stuck in the snow as they tried to help us after we got stuck. Only a high ground clearance 4WD will work. Unit is dated, radiant heat cannot uniformly heat the entire condo. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything that occurs in adjoining units. Beds are very uncomfortable. After-hours emergency guy ( sorry cannot remember name) was excellent. After we got stuck in the snow blocking the alley, he arrived quickly and realized what was needed to get us out of the snow bank. He got us out and dropped us off at a restaurant as we were afraid to drive the car until it was time to leave in the morning.

The reservation process have been very easy, even with the date changes, and I appreciate the communication from the staff confirming the arrangements and notification that the unit was ready earlier than 4:00 p.m. This is the second time we have rented the Heartleaf Condo. The location is excellent, it is clean, nicely decorated without being cluttered and well-equipped (kitchen supplies, etc.). There were five adults staying in the condo and we were all comfortable. We love the front porch and the balcony on the second floor.

We have rented dozens and dozens of AirBnb, VRBO and other short term rental properties. This stay was as pleasant and as easily arranged as any we've rented before all over the USA and Canada. Everything was as it should be. Everyone was super friendly, from the reservation agent I spoke with on the phone, to everyone who emailed us at various stages to the gentleman who picked up the rubbish and recycling. Heartleaf Condo was a perfect fit for our family of 5 + 1. The three bedroom condo was a great fit for our two teenage girls and two teenage boys. Although not luxurious, the condo had everything we needed and has a great location to boot. We walked barely a block to the bus stop to catch the bus to the slopes each day. Elk Street is also within comfortable walking distance. 5/5 would stay there again -- and probably will Dec/Jan 2018/19.

The condo was comfortable and close to the bus stop which made it easy and convenient to get everywhere. I just have one suggestion. The upstairs room with the balcony door did not have a curtain on door's window. That room would have felt a little more comfortable if it had a little more privacy. Very helpful and nice.
