Description

The Summit Ski House is a beautiful, custom built Douglas Fir Log home true mountain luxury in a perfect location!  It has five bedrooms and 4.5 baths, a bonus game/bar room, spacious living areas, two kitchens, an office and an exercise area.

The home was custom built for and by the homeowners to guarantee authenticity.  It features a modern and open floor plan that lives large. The custom Douglas Fir logs were specially brought in from Canada. The logs have been saddle-notched and hand-hewn to ensure the perfect fit.

There are a total of three bedrooms with king beds, and two bedrooms with queen beds.  The first floor has two bedrooms with queen beds and a shared full bath.  The second floor boasts one king bedroom with a private full bath.  The third floor has two bedrooms with king beds and a shared bath.

There is also a bonus living area which has been turned into the rec room with a beautiful pool table, wet bar, over-sized television, and even a classic ATARI video-game console!

The kitchen is a chef’s dream. Any appliance or utensil you could want or need is available at your fingertips.  There is a beautiful bar/seating area for friends and family for all to socialize while the cook’s creating a meal.  A large dining table is adjacent to the kitchen for a sit-down meal.

The decks of the house are expansive and perfect for all occasions. You can grill on the outside front wrap-around deck and sit in the sun with friends and family. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee, or your favorite Apres beverage. The back deck offers amazing views of Mt. Crested Butte day and night. Soak in the private hot tub while watching the light from the sun set on the mountain!

Private hot tub, wrap-around decks with endless views, and ideal location make this THE home everyone wishes they could vacation in!

This house is a great retreat for larger gatherings, family events, or vacationing with friends.  Sleeps 10 to 15 people.

We are always happy and willing to assist with ski and bike rentals and to share our local knowledge.

** Should any reservations fall within dates that have been mandated by Colorado State or Gunnison County as “no travel to or from Gunnison County” due to Covid 19 related issues, shall be issued a full refund minus the 5% processing fee. Please note that refunds will only be issued if there is in fact a written mandate- suggested guidelines and advisories are not included in this policy. As well, county guidelines are regularly updated on the Gunnisoncounty.org website and guests are advised to check regularly to ensure they stay compliant with all rules, regulations, number of households under one roof, etc. It is the guests' sole responsibility to stay compliant and updated on the rules and regulations in effect in our county and city.

***** Early check ins and or late check out requests may be granted on a per booking basis and may be subject to additional fees at the time of booking. Last minute requests cannot be granted due to pre established cleaning and maintenance schedules. Guests who occupy any part of the property including the driveway prematurely without preauthorisation from the home owner or property manager will be subject to a $ 250 fine. Guests will also be asked to vacate the property and return at check in time. Guests who check out after 10am  without preauthorisation will be asked to vacate immediately and will be subject to a $ 250 fine.

Notes

**There is a construction camera located on the property. The camera DOES NOT look at the property or guests, it is angled across the steet on Black Diamond Trail.**

4-wheel drive is required for this home in the winter as the road has several uphill switchbacks.

Trailers and RV’s are not allowed in the Summit neighborhood.

Ski access is dependent upon snow conditions and may be restricted in early and late Winter Season. Please note that our guests will need to walk across the street to access the nearest ski run, Homeowner's Trail. This trail ranges in difficulty from moderate to advanced depending on new snow levels and grooming status.  
5 dedicated parking spots in private driveway.
The garage is locked for owner storage and is NOT available for guest use.
